It’s time to roll up your sleeves and get dirty exploring Lahaina! Maybe you won’t have to mess with your sleeves, but you’ll get dirty on a Maui Off-Road Adventures!

Maui Off-Road Adventures offer eco-friendly 2-hour tours into regions of Lahaina, Maui that are only accessible by helicopters or ATVs. On your off-road adventure, you’ll savor scenic views, zip through bamboo forests, climb hills, splash through rivers, and much more.

You’ll be driving Can-Am Maverick Sport ATVs with a Rotax engine that puts out 100 hp. Mavericks also have Smark-Lok with Trail Active mode. Smark-Lok gradually engages (or locks) to give you smoother steering and response. This safety feature kicks in when high engine torque or an increase in vehicle speed is detected.

Additionally, the Can-Am Maverick Sport ATVs come with a roll bar, 3-pint safety harness, and Fox suspension. All ATVs are four-seaters and are open-air (no windshield) for an adrenaline-pumping off-road adventure! Maui Off-Road Adventures provide helmets and goggles, and if you ask, they’ll supply gloves, dust masks, and ponchos.

To participate in Maui Off-Road Adventures, you need to be at least 18-years old with a valid driver’s license and insurance. Hindrances from participating are:

  • People with recent surgeries or neck/knee/back problems are prohibited
  • You’re pregnant
  • Have serious health conditions
  • You’re under the influence of alcohol or drugs

You are responsible for the vehicle, and you could end up paying for damages if the following occur:

  • The ATV is damaged by not adhering to safety protocols
  • A rollover requires $200 for complete vehicle inspection
  • Damages exceeding $200 will be charged to the driver

Your guide sets the speed for the tour and follows pre-established dirt trails. Driving off the routes is not allowed and will result in your tour being terminated.

Maui Off-Road Adventures operate rain or shine, so pack a rain jacket. Even if rain isn’t in the forecast, weather conditions change quickly, so be prepared. You’re required to wear closed-toe shoes, and shorts and T-shirts are perfect. And as we said at the start, you will get dirty, possibly muddy, so don’t wear designer attire. They have wash stations and restrooms to clean up after your adventure but don’t have shower facilities.

You’ll need to bring water bottles and reef-safe sunscreen. There isn’t personal storage on the site, so don’t bring valuable or personal items you don’t intend to take on your tour. Children 7-years and older may ride with parents, but booster seats are not allowed.

So get dirty exploring the vistas and fauna of Maui in a sporty ATV. We think you’ll have a safe, memorable time on a Maui Off-Road Adventures.
