You cannot leave Stillwell’s without trying one of their famous Cream Horns. Sweet pastry cream fills the crisply baked puff pastry. To finish these treats off, bakers dip them in milk chocolate and dust them with powdered sugar. They have such distinctive, flavorful quality, that many people purchase boxes to give as gifts. If the six-inch-long traditional Cream Horn is too big, order some Mini Cream Horns. They’re half the size but have all the flavor.
Crab Cake Sandwich
Freshly prepared crab cakes on your choice of bread – try the focaccia – present an unusual change of pace from the typical sliced meat sandwich. The sandwich includes tartar sauce on it, but you also get a side of this sauce with a lemon wedge to enhance your sandwich as you see fit. While you can choose between the Caesar salad and chips for a side, try the salad to try the homemade dressing and croutons.
Chinese Chicken Salad
The Chinese Chicken Salad is Stillwell’s most well-known cafe dish. This salad includes romaine lettuce, red cabbage, sesame seeds, cucumbers, carrots, chicken thigh meat, and won ton chips.
