As part of the immaculate, guest-favorite Four Seasons Resort in Hualalai, the Hualalai Golf Course is crafted with sensitivity, situated perfectly within its unique environment. This 18-hole, Jack Nicklaus-signature championship course winds over 7,100 yards, flowing across bright green fairways, contoured against black lava, and situated alongside the ocean for the final holes.
In addition to the picturesque course and idyllic setting, the Hualalai Golf Course also features a nine-acre driving range, including a short=game and chipping practice area, a putting green, and two sand bunkers. Innovative TrackMan Range technology allows for shot tracking, providing immediate feedback to help you master distance control.
The Club Shop on the grounds sells a varied range of women’s and men’s apparel, golf gear, books, and hats. It is a favorite stop for guests visiting the course. There is also a complimentary golf tour available at Hualalai that gives you an overview of the entire course via a 20-minute escorted experience. This can be a great way to introduce yourself to the facility and give you an idea of what to expect when spending your day on the greens.
If you don’t want to bring along your gear, you can rent a variety of PXG clubs, including fairway woods, drivers, irons, putters, and rescues. There are also a variety of shafts to choose from including stiff and regular flex steel irons with matching graphite woods. There are also women and senior graphite flex irons and woods available for rent. Hualalai Golf Course also allows you to ship your own clubs to our facility if playing with your own set of clubs is important to you. This way, you can play with your own gear without dealing with the hassle of lugging them through an airport. The concierge team will gladly facilitate door-to-door shipping for your clubs via FedEx.
The Hualalai Golf Course provides a unique experience to their guests with their practice with a pro option. In this practice, the professionals will watch your warm-up, helping you to understand tendencies and enabling you to improve your ability to score. The collection of statistics and post-round analysis through video analysis makes this an incredibly productive and helpful experience and a great way to improve your game.
In addition to all the amenities offered, Hualalai Golf Course also provides instructional clinics. This gives you access to golf pros via biweekly instructional clinics designed to aid you in sand play, pitching, and chipping. You can also opt for a private golf lesson, which is helpful whether you are a true beginner or a fairly experienced player. You can also try night golf organized by Hualalai Golf Course pros, for either a private or group experience.
Another notable feature offered at this spectacular course is the Top Golf Swing Suite. This is the ultimate hangout for experts, beginners, and everyone in between. As Hawaii’s first TopGolf Swing Suite, this features interactive technology and multi-sport games options for an entertaining experience.
You can also try the Pro-Am Scramble, which is organized by course pros and is a nine-hole scramble designed for your group. The beverages, food, and prizes can all be customized. The One-Wheel Turf Surf is yet another featured experience that gives you an innovative way to “surf” across the back nine. The experience is facilitated by the course’s Alakai Nalu Team and is bookable through Ocean Activities.
