Seven Brothers restaurant found its start when a Samoan surfer fell in love with a blonde-haired, blue-eyed California girl. It all started in 1976 and became the story of how the seven brothers of Seven Brothers came about. Years later in 2009, the dream of Seven Brothers was born in the small country town of Kahuku, Oahu.
The motto embraced by the owners and staff of Seven Brothers is more than a meal, it’s always about guest happiness first. Today, you can find Seven Brothers locations at Kahuku at the mill, Sharks Cove, Laie, and most recently Haleiwa. This family-owned restaurant features a real-life family made up of seven brothers, and no sisters. The idea to form the restaurant was born from the Dad’s desire to see his sons work together as a family.
Guests rave that Seven Brothers features a menu full of delicious dishes with generous portions all with top-notch service. It is said that the restaurant is clean and inviting and features some of the kindest people you will ever meet. This restaurant specializes in offering delicious options for lunch or dinner and is a must-try locale for everyone who visits the area.
While there are many options to enjoy when visiting Seven Brothers, there are a few menu items that stand above the rest. When visiting, make sure you try the following…
Burgers
All Seven Brothers burgers are served with grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, and house-made sauce. There are many options of burgers to try, including the Max Burger, which is a burger topped with grilled mushrooms, melted Swiss cheese smothered in mushroom madness sauce, and bacon. Another favorite is the Paniolo Burger, which features giant homemade onion rings, bacon, melted American cheese, and grilled pineapple all covered in house and BBQ sauce. You can make your burger a combo and get either fries and drink or upgrade to the fries, drink, and salad combo option.
Salads
For lighter fare, you can try the Polynesian Salad, served with grilled pineapple, crushed macadamia nuts, and sweetened coconut flakes served with the Seven Brothers’ signature coconut dressing. Another option is the Coconut Macadamia Nut Shrimp Salad, a house salad served with wonton noodles, craisins, and four hand-battered and packed coconut MacNut shrimp with papaya seed dressing and Thai dipping sauce.
Fries
At Seven Brothers, even the fries have a bit of pizzazz as you can get the standard Home Fry or opt for either the Crazy Fry, featuring seasoning, melted cheese, house sauce, and caramelized onions, or the Panilo Fry, which features grilled pineapple, caramelized onions, bacon, BBQ sauce, melted cheese, and homemade onion rings.
Kid’s Dishes
Kid’s meals have drinks and fries included. For the Keiki (kids), you can get a plain cheeseburger or grilled cheese.
Desserts
To finish off your meal on the right note, you can choose an Acai Bowl, which is a Brazilian super fruit sorbet that is topped with sliced banana, granola, shaved coconut, and drizzled with honey, or opt for the Mom’s Banana Bread, which is a timeless treat that features freshly baked banana bread topped with chocolate sauces and toasted coconut. You can also enjoy a vanilla or chocolate shake.
Seafood Plates
These dishes are only available at the Haleiwa and Kahuku locations. You can opt for these plates that are served with lightly seasoned rice, and locally sourced papaya seed dressing.
