Experience Aloha on the beautiful North Shore of Kauai, or visit the farm stand locations of Aloha Ola Farms when stopping at either the Farm Stand at Aloha Ola Farms or the Farm Stand at Anaina Hou Community Park in Kilauea, HI. Of course, you can also stay on the beautiful farm itself via a farm stay as well. Regardless of how you choose to experience the goodness of Aloha Ola Farms, it is well worth adding to your itinerary.
The mission of Aloha Ola Farms is about loving life. They believe that feeding the smallest living things on our planet in turn promotes healthier food for every living thing. All products grown at the farm and sold are made with love from the ground up. This means that you will get the benefit of a second-generation farm when purchasing from a farm stand.
The Aloha Ola Farm originated with Bruce and Cyndee Fehring and operated under the name Fehring Family Farm until 2021. This property, which is now a thriving and robust farm, was once covered in brush and neglected. Today, it is an abundant farm filled with apple bananas, citrus, sugarloaf pineapple, and other tropical fruits. The farm was handed down from the original owners to their daughter and son-in-law Brianna and Corey Ansley who are currently operating the farm under the name of Aloha Ola Farms.
The Aloha Ola Farm is a full circle farm, meaning they are stewards of the land. They strive to improve the soil naturally. They also grow a variety of fruits that are processed and turned into products from the farm and then sold to the public at the farm stands. Not only can these delicious treats be found at the farm stands, but they can also be found at food markets like the Saturday Anaina Hou Market or the Sunday Princeville Artist & Flea Market. This farm is a proud part of the movement toward more sustainable food production on the island, and they are happy to serve healthy delicious treats in the process.
In addition, you can stay at the Twin Hearts Cottage Farm Stay through Aloha Ola Farms. This unique private cottage is 550 sq ft and is located on beautiful acreage on the farm within walking distance of a lovely beach. The cottage has many amenities including a tandem kayak, internet, a hot tub, king bed, outdoor shower, and more. Occupancy is up to four, but it is most comfortable for vacationing couples.
Another option for a farm stay is the Pineapple Farmstay, a 600 sq ft. studio. This has an occupancy of up to three. There are beautiful amenities at this location as well. Staying at either of these properties allows you to experience the true beauty of Hawaii in a unique way, all with the comfort of many great amenities.
When visiting the farm stands featuring products from the Aloha Ola Farms, you will note some delicious treats. These treats are made using locally sourced fruits when possible, many of which come from the Aloha Ola Farm itself.
