One cannot visit Hawaii and not experience the fresh seafood. Sansei Seafood Restaurant and Sushi Bar is part of D.K Restaurants, which was started in 1996. The first restaurant was opened at Kapalua Resorts on Maui. The restaurant served contemporary sushi and innovative fusion seafood in a lively and fun setting. Not long after opening its doors, this restaurant received numerous awards and accolades. Because of this success, numerous restaurants have been opened in Hawaii.
This Sansei Seafood Restaurant and Bar location can be found in Queens Marketplace Mall in Waikoloa. Because of the pandemic, the restaurant is currently open for limited in-room dining and offers an abbreviated menu. Indoor and outdoor seating are both available. As times change, these precautions could be lifted. Stay tuned. For now, it’s best to make a reservation if you’d like to dine in. If you have kids, feel free to bring them along. This restaurant is child friendly. Takeout is also available. Some menu items and specials are only available for takeout.
This location is currently closed on Wednesdays and is only open for dinner the other six days. At this time, masks are required in the restaurant. If you’d like to order takeout, you can do so online or by calling the restaurant.

Ahi Poke Bowl
Find cubed fresh Ahi with sweet Maui onions in this dish. In addition, there are wakame and kaiware sprouts in a spicy poke sauce.

This selection comes with eight pieces with shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, kaiware sprouts, cucumber, avocado, and cream cheese. It’s topped with tempura crunchies and an unagi glaze.

Enjoy Ahi tuna, Hamachi (yellowtail), and salmon in this sushi dish.
Fresh Hawaiian Ahi Carpaccio
This tasty dish is garnished with cilantro and chopped peanuts with a Thai chili vinaigrette.
Gomadare New York Strip Steak
You may not think about ordering a steak at a Sushi and seafood restaurant, but this steak will not disappoint. The meat is very tender and comes with a gomadare sauce, sweet miso, and sesame seeds.

Enjoy crispy tempura shrimp tossed in masago oil and unagi glaze.
