Kamuela Provision Company takes your Big Island adventures to the next level with fine dining extravagance on their oceanfront lanai. For that experience, you’ll need to reserve your spot well ahead of time, and then only order off their Chef’s Menu. If you want to go with their ala carte selections, on the other hand, you’ll need to grab an indoor table instead.

Either way, you can expect your chef to use creative recipes and only the freshest island ingredients in building each meal. The results are phenomenal, too, offering bold flavors in every last bite. Since they only source sustainable, local ingredients, you can feel good about your meal, knowing that your selections help protect the island’s bounty.

Although all their food is equally good indoors and out, their lanai dining experience is the way to go on your first visit. You just need to reserve your table well ahead of your visit, and then come by the Hilton Waikoloa Village eatery on the scheduled date and time. Your server will welcome you with alohas all around and lead you to your table out by the oceanfront. From there, you can soak in the scenic views of the Wailua Bay and the ocean beyond.

As soon as you’re seated, your server will provide the Chef’s Menu offering the selections for the night. You get many excellent choices for each of the three courses, including even more decadent options for an extra charge. You can also take your meal to the next level with extra sides and enhancements, including Keahole Half Lobster Tail. Want to add a wine pairing to your order? It’ll just be an extra charge as well.

For the first course, you’ll need to select your perfect starters, like their Hamakua Tomato Salad or Hawaiian Ahi Tartar. Want Pacific Oysters, Jumbo Crab Cakes, or other exclusive fares? Just add it for a bit more. The second course is your entrée, of course, serving as the star of the show. Their menu often features amazingly decadent creations, like Braised Beef Short Ribs, Jidori Organic Chicken, and Hawaiian Seafood Boil.

Dessert finishes off your meal as the third course. Expect time-honored favorites, like Chocolate Lava Cake, all served up with flair. By the time dessert rolls around, you’ll get to watch in awe as the sun goes down below the horizon. The sky lights up in a brilliant array of hues, giving you quite a show to match the live music playing in the background.

You’ll absolutely adore the:

Lilikoi Margarita
If you want to kick off your dining experience with tropical delights paired with strong spirits, go with the Lilikoi Margarita. This drink starts with Herradura Tequila and Orange Curacao. The bright lilikoi puree joins the party next, followed by fresh lime juice. The whole lot lands in a glass with a li hing mui rim to add even more flavor to the mix.

Wagyu Beef & Truffle Ravioli
For pure decadence in every last bite, you cannot go wrong with the Wagyu Beef & Truffle Ravioli. This entrée begins with ravioli filled with wagyu beef and truffles. After they’re perfectly cooked, they land in a rich beef au jus sauce accented by pea tendrils. Then, micro pecorino cheese goes over it all right before serving.

Seared Scallops & Soy Glazed Pork Belly
The Seared Scallops & Soy Glazed Pork Belly treat you to a unique surf and turf experience. This dish starts long before you arrive with the preparation of the soy-glazed pork belly. After you put in your order, they expertly sear the scallops and then put them on the plate with the tender pork belly. Miso carrot puree and sugar snap peas land alongside.

On subsequent visits, grabbing a seat in their indoor dining room is a great choice. In that space, you’re free to explore the menu ala carte, letting you pair up whatever looks best at that moment. Although the views are not nearly as good from that vantage point, the ambiance is still second to none. Their quality service is equally good inside and out as well, ensuring you have a wonderful dining experience always.
