You will be learning on a 10 ft. soft-foam longboard as this is a board with excellent flotation and cushioning, which is ideal for beginners and intermediate surfers alike. During your lesson, expect ½ hour of dry-land instruction, with the instructor explaining what you are about to do. Then, you will spend 1 hour in the ocean catching waves. The whole experience equals 1 ½ of fun!
