Attention, coffee fanatics. You’re in for an extra special tasty treat! Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, and Palate Coffee are a match made in coffee heaven. You see, this little, charming, trailer on wheels is growing in popularity for its wonderful coffee drinks and welcoming atmosphere. Husband and wife team and partners for life, David and Anna are the proud owners with a mission to serve their customers the best cup of joy around. The name Palates means, “people’s appreciation of taste and flavor.” Their tagline, “good coffee, happy palates,” is simple but deeply meaningful, especially to them.

You see, making and serving the tastiest coffee is the couple’s dream and passion. But it is more than just brewing coffee. They believe that coffee connects people while bringing people together, and invites you and your friends, “to swing by and let us pour you a drink!”

The couple, both long-time coffee lovers, and sweethearts took a leap of faith and decided to open their very own business back in 2020. When you see your logo you’ll get a better picture of how much coffee makes them smile. Or better yet how they want you to feel when you taste their special café blends. It is simply a sketch of the bottom curve and handle of a coffee cup that looks just like a smile. And creating smiles is what they do with the freshest, made-to-order coffee, just how you like it.

From the outside of the trailer which is usually located conveniently in Kailua-Kona to the state-of-the-art coffee kitchen, this unique drive-through or walk-up set-up coffee stop should be added to your bucket list. Once you get a taste of their brews, it just might just become your favorite coffee spot in Hawaii.

Take a look at the menu posted on the outside of the trailer. Trust us, this special spot will instantly perk you up. Keep in mind they have additional daily specials that aren’t on the regular everyday menu. Some specials, like The Honey Lavender Latte, were so popular they are now on the regular menu. This beverage features the perfect touches of honey and lavender creating a sweet, flowery blend that is perfect for enjoying on a lovely Hawaiian day!
