They’ll attach you to a high-quality harness, get you zooming down the lines, and then handle all the braking to bring you to a gentle stop. In between each line, the guides provide interesting facts about the island plus point out amazing sights along the way.
Since they offer the full zipline experience, it’s no surprise that their schedule stays full year-round. So, you’ll need to book your spot well ahead of time for a chance to ride the lines. Thankfully, you can do that quite easily through their website or by giving them a call bright and early in the morning. Once you schedule your spot, start planning out your route to ensure you get there 30 minutes early. When traveling from the west or south side of Maui, you’ll need to leave your hotel about two hours ahead of time.
Before heading out, be sure to bring SPF 50+ sunscreen, locally sourced bug spray, and sunglasses on a strap for each person. Also, make sure everyone wears closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothing, and a light jacket in case it rains. All jewelry should stay in your hotel safe, plus have all guests with long hair wear braids or a ponytail. Want to take photos? Also, it’s important to know that all riders must be over six years of age and weigh between 50 to 250 pounds. The only exception is for riders between 40 and 49 pounds. Upon arriving early, you’ll get geared up for your ride and learn about what to expect. Then, you’ll head out to the starter line. On this line, you’ll get a feel for the zipline experience without going too high or too fast. After that, you’ll start the tour in earnest, blasting down the lines that only seem to get higher and higher in the air. Your guides will provide a light snack and refreshments halfway through, plus let you pick fruit you find near each platform. Then, you’ll get another round of snacks and beverages after your tour.
