The Ocean Course at Hokuala

A more challenging course, the Ocean Course at Hokuala has a little bit of everything. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, test your skills as you zip through narrow passages. The view here is absolutely unbeatable with faraway sights of mountaintops and palm trees aligning with the coast. This golf course is worth every single second of your time.

Princeville Makai Golf Club

Another golf course surrounded by the incredible beauty of the island, the Princeville Makai Golf Club includes sights of lakes and coastal cliffs that are surely unforgettable. Ancient Polynesian archeology fills this course, as you challenge yourself surrounded by lush trees and ocean views. This course has somewhat mixed reviews, however, so if you go be mindful that while some love this golf course — some others would disagree.

Kukuiolono Golf Course

Once the site of an ancient Hawaiian Heiau, get your golf on while being surrounded by gardens and mountains. Extremely affordable compared to the other courses, the Kukuiolono Golf Course offers daily rates so low as $15! Mini-golf is also included here, as well as a Japanese garden, and park activities with walking paths. This course is the best course for the whole family where the kids also have something to play as well. If you’re looking for the best greenway, however, this is not the professional golfing experience you will get at the higher-end and more luxurious courses.

Puakea Golf Course

Once a sugar plantation, Puakea Golf Course certainly delivers some of the greatest views to golf in. With twilight rates, junior rates, and rental rates — you will find something in your budget to suit your needs while playing on this course. There are some mixed reviews about this course as well about the staff friendliness and consistency of the greens, so keep that in mind when traveling to the Puakea Golf Course.
