You may not think about going to a movie theater for a meal, but The Bistro at Waikoloa Luxury Cinema provides diners with great food for the entire family. Plus, you can even have the food delivered to you in the theater if you want to catch a movie during your meal.

You don’t have to see a movie to enjoy a meal at The Bistro. In fact, this restaurant offers its own seating area outside. On weekends, live music enhances the outdoor dining experience. This eatery includes a full-service bar, too, allowing you to order cocktails, spiked shakes, spirits, beer, and wine with your meal.

Don’t think that because The Bistro serves food to the theater that its menu only has popcorn and hot dogs. The upscale menu includes delicious fare that visitors praise as some of the best food they had in Waikoloa Village. For instance, while you can get a hot dog, when you order from The Bistro, you receive a 1/4-pound all-beef hot dog served with a variety of toppings, including chili and cheese, or plain with mustard and ketchup. Unlike pizza at other movie theaters that may sit under a heat lamp for hours, when you order pizza at The Bistro, the kitchen makes it to your specifications from the build-your-own option. You also have several menu options with set toppings, such as Margherita, veggie lovers, or smoked salmon.

The varied menu includes tacos, wraps, hamburgers, salads, sandwiches, and pizzas. Make sure to leave room for dessert, which include decadent milkshakes and individual cakes or cheesecakes.

The Bistro has a wide variety of tasty foods. If you cannot decide what to eat, try one of the following options:

Scallion Pancake Rib Eye Wrap
The Bistro offers wraps on the menu, but the options include unique choices not available elsewhere, such as the Scallion Pancake Rib Eye Wrap. This wrap starts with an oniony scallion pancake. Inside the pancake are meaty pieces of rib eye. Crunchy red cabbage, pickled carrots and cucumbers, and caramelized onions fill out the vegetable portion of the wrap. Finally, cilantro, sweet and salty hoisin, and sriracha aioli add moisture and extra flavor to the wrap. You’ve never had a wrap like this anywhere else. Previous diners highly praised the execution of this unusual meal.

The CA “Cult Classic” Burger
The aroma of burgers on the grill wafts throughout the nearby area, enticing many to visit The Bistro. Burgers are among the most popular foods on the menu. According to diners, the burgers come grilled to perfection and taste great. The signature burger at The Bistro is The CA “Cult Classic.” Available with one or two patties, this burger includes lettuce, two slices of cheese, tomatoes, onions, and a special sauce. Mustard coats the patties before they hit the grill to infuse the meat with extra flavor. You have the option to pair it with fries, coleslaw, or potato macaroni salad. Choose the potato mac salad for a tasty side preferred by many.

Tuna Poke Nachos or Bowl
While the Tuna Poke Nachos or Bowl appears on the appetizer portion of the menu, many recommend ordering the bowl version as a meal. When ordering it as nachos, the toppings cover fried wontons. For the bowl version, rice serves as the base. Atop your choice of base, sashimi-grade tuna, unagi, sweet Thai chili, wasabi cream, sriracha aioli, and furikake complete the dish. One visitor suggests requesting less wasabi cream on your poke nachos or bowl if you want to reduce the heat.

Enjoy your favorite foods or unique dishes prepared with quality ingredients at The Bistro in Queens Marketplace in Waikoloa Village.
