Hawaii Zipline Tours offers a chance to see the lush Big Island landscape near Akaka Falls from a whole new perspective. While flying along their ziplines, you’ll get incredible views of native Hawaiian plants, wildlife, and so much more. Zooming over the 250-foot waterfall serves as the grand finale, making you want to head back to the start and do it all over again.

Although their ziplines are the main attraction, they don’t end their offerings there. They also run group outings on the regular, taking families, friends, and even coworkers on adventures to remember. On top of that, they aim to add guided hiking tours to their lineup in the near future. So, all in all, this is a great place to go when you want to see all the beauty of paradise in one fun trip.

Whether you want to go on a zipline tour, guided hike, or group outing, you’ll need to book your spot, and then get ready for fun adventures. Plan to wear shorts, a t-shirt, and snug closed-toe shoes. A light jacket is a good idea, too, although they will provide a raincoat if it starts to pour. To protect yourself from the sun, put on SPF 50+ reef-safe sunblock about 15 minutes before arriving. Plus, wear sunglasses with UV protection – just remember to put them on a secure strap. Bring a camera on a strap, too.

On your big day, you’ll want to show up about 30 minutes early to check in. Then, they will transport you to the starting point for the ziplines or the hiking spot for the day in their 15-passenger van. Your guide will then go all out in making sure that you have an incredible time out in paradise, all while keeping you safe. They also make it a point to share fun facts about the native plants, wildlife, and more, giving you key insights about all you see along the way.

Their top offerings include:

Zipline Adventure
The Zipline Adventure lets you zoom across seven lines spanning their working agricultural farm full of pineapples, sugarcane, and other native plants. By the end of the 2.5-hour tour, you’ll be over 400 feet up and going over 50 MPH as you take in all the views. As the grand finale, you’ll get to soar over a 250-foot waterfall set in a stunning ravine.

Hiking Tour
Although their plans are still in the works, the guided Hiking Tours will take you all over the landscapes of Hawaii. You’ll get to learn about the flora and fauna in your midst while getting in all your steps for the day. If you tour their farm, you’ll even get to taste the freshest tropical fruit around.

Group Outings
On the Group Outings, you get to choose your own adventure, complete with hiking, ziplining, and other fun activities. You’ll work with a guide to plan out your adventure for your group, and then select your ideal date and time. After that, you just have to get everyone together and show up at the check-in time to kick off your explorations.

All attendees must sign up for the tour. They do not allow spectators to tag along without paying the price of admission. Kids under age 14 must have an adult on the ziplines with them if they want to cruise over the landscape.

-For a full refund, give them at least 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations. Otherwise, they will only provide a refund if they can rebook your spot.
-Get going on your adventures even faster by signing the waiver before checking in.
