Atlantis Submarines Waikiki takes you down 100 feet to see everything from eels to sharks to sea turtles. The depths of Waikiki are also home to airliners, pyramid structures, shipwrecks, and more. All of the man-made structures have since joined forces with Mother Nature to build a vibrant Atlantis reef.

This excursion is perfect for both children and adults. Atlantis Submarines invites people of all ages to learn about how life proliferates in the darkness below. When protecting our ocean environment is so critical, it’s never been a better time to open people’s eyes to how respecting the planet helps us all. This company was created to provide the kinds of memories that spark real change in the world.

The Tour of a Lifetime

The dive site itself is positioned within view of Leahi, also known as Diamond Head. It’s a dramatic scene that far under the surface of the water, and an unforgettable way to put you front and center for the conflicts, raw beauty, and undeniable strangeness of the ocean.

The submarine has 64 seats with huge portholes, so you can see the underwater in its full-color glory. Comfortable, spacious, and air-conditioned, it’s an accessible tour for most people. This may not be a voyage you make very often, but it is one that you’re unlikely to regret.

While this tour is accessible to most people, it should be noted that there are some physical restrictions:

  • Children must be 36″ tall to ride the submarine.
  • All guests must be able to climb and descend a vertical 11-step ladder into and out of the submarine.

The Story of Atlantis

Atlantis Submarines has been sharing the wonders of Hawaii since 1988. The submarines are powered by batteries, emit no pollutants, and are quiet enough that they won’t disturb marine life. At this dive site, you’ll see the artificial reefs that have been built by the company to create self-sustaining habitats for fish and other species.

These areas, once devoid of life, are now teeming with life. This company was built on the foundation of showing people, animals, and the Earth the dignity and respect they deserve. The employees are also known for treating guests as if they were entering their own homes, which helps create a family feel on an action-packed journey.

All in all, Atlantis Submarines Waikiki might be an extravagance for many people, but it’s one that can leave you with some of the best memories from the trip. If you’ve ever wanted to see everything below but don’t have your scuba certification yet, this could be the compromise you’re looking for.
