Brick Oven Pizza has been serving up pies for more than 40 years, and the eatery today also has a full array of appetizers, pasta, and adult beverages. A tradition that’s family-owned, this is a place where locals and visitors alike get their fresh-baked pizzas.

The pizzas at Brick Oven Pizza are made with choice doughs, housemade sauce, fresh mozzarella, and many different toppings. Choose from the standard pepperoni, sausage, peppers, and black olives, or go for one of the specialty options. Smoked Ham & Pineapple is an obvious choice when you’re in Hawaii. Also consider the Bay Shrimp & Fresh Garlic, Super Pizza, or Margherita — every combination is oven-baked to perfection and delicious.

Wings are a classic pizza pairing and are available by 7 or 15-piece orders. Salads, sandwiches, and pasta are also available if you’d like. The Oysters are a high-end appetizer when they’re in season, and the Shrimp Clam Linguini is likewise worthy of strong consideration.

Finish off your meal with one of the desserts, which range from cheesecake to fruit smoothies. If you pay attention, though, you’ll notice that the locals order the Aloha Ice Cream Pie.

A selection of beers and wines (white and red) can be ordered from the bar. For younger ones, sodas, juices, and water can be ordered.

Pizza is a crowd-pleaser, and the pies here are especially good. Order one or a few for your whole group, and get all of the adults a refreshing beverage.

A few of our favorite menu items at Brick Oven Pizza include:

Smoked Ham & Pineapple Pizza
A high-end take on the classic Hawaiian pizza, the Smoked Ham & Pineapple is a go-to choice if you want an island favorite. The salty and sweetness are a great combination. An alternative is the Hawaiian Chicken Barbecue Pizza, which keeps many similar flavors but uses authentic Hawaiian barbecue sauce.

Super Pizza
Go fully loaded, with pepperoni, salami, Italian sausage, Portuguese sausage, smoked ham, mushrooms, black olives, green onions, and bell peppers. Make sure you’re hungry even if you want to manage just one slice.

Caesar Salad
Want some vegetables instead of dough and cheese? This is one of the most authentic Ceasar salads you’ll find on the island, as it can be topped with imported anchovy filets.

Steam Clam Linguini
Enjoy something from the sea with the Steam Clam Linguini. As if clams and garlic-wine sauce weren’t good enough, the dish is also topped with bacon and parmesan.

Aloha Ice Cream Pie
A local favorite, the $6 ice cream pie is worth well more than its price. A chocolate cookie crust is filled with coffee ice cream and topped like a sundae. Hot fudge, whipped cream, chocolate, caramel, and nuts finish off the sweet dessert.

Insider Tips:
-Bring cash in order to save. A 3.5 percent surcharge is added to any credit card or debit card payment.
-Have a large party? No problem. A few pies will be enough to feed everyone, and there’s almost always enough seating for groups of 10 or more.
